All MAHŌ glassware — including the Chá Pots — is made from high-borosilicate glass. The colour is created through mineral tints fused directly into the glass during the heating process. This means:

• No surface coatings or paints
• No colour leaching into beverages
• Heat-safe and food-safe for both hot and cold drinks
• Fully compliant with international glassware safety standards

Each piece is handcrafted and kiln-fired, making the tint a permanent part of the glass — never an external layer.

MAHŌ glassware also holds LFGB certification, a rigorous European standard for materials that come into contact with food. LFGB-tested products are free from harmful substances, will not affect taste or odor, and are considered safer and higher quality than items tested only to basic FDA standards. Suitable for extreme temperatures and daily use.

What’s your return policy?

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. See our Refund Policy for full details and exceptions.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Yes. We ship to Alaska and Hawaii on most products.

Shipping rates for Alaska and Hawaii are calculated in real time at checkout based on item eligibility, carrier availability, and destination. Certain oversized, heavy, or fragile items may be excluded and will not display shipping options at checkout.

Please note that free shipping promotions apply only to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).

What is your return policy for Alaska and Hawaii orders?

Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii are eligible for return if they meet our standard return criteria and are initiated within 30 days of delivery.

However:

  • Alaska and Hawaii orders are not eligible for free return shipping
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable

If a return is due to our error (incorrect item, defect, or damage), we will cover all shipping costs regardless of destination.
