Behind the Design

Lucie Kaas reintroduces Arne Clausen’s iconic 1965 Lotus pattern in a new ceramic form, transforming a mid-century classic into a functional piece for contemporary living. Originally used on enamel cookware by Cathrineholm, the Lotus motif has been faithfully adapted by Lucie Kaas, staying true to Clausen’s original vision while offering a modern update in material and color. Designed in Denmark and produced in Portugal, the collection honors Scandinavian heritage with everyday usability in mind.
