Petra Eriksson is an illustrator and visual artist from Stockholm based in Barcelona. Her background is from a mix of studies within fine art painting and graphic design, which has influenced her way of working with color and shapes. One of the most important aspects of her work is color and finding a good balance in each piece. She's been represented by the illustration agency Handsome Frank since 2017 and last year she started working with the Swedish creative agency Söderberg Agentur. I really enjoy drawing food, especially when I get the chance to combine organic food shapes with the more graphic lines of simple bowls and plates. In this piece, I wanted you to get the feeling two friends sharing a warm meal full of spices and umami flavors talking about their life, while indulging in their lunch. — Petra Eriksson
