KUSA Object

A breeze you can see.

KUSA is a calming, poetic object designed to sway softly in response to the air around it. Place it by your front door or on a windowsill, and its slim, green leaf will flutter gently as people pass. Inspired by the beauty of rice plants rippling in the summer wind, KUSA invites you to experience a moment of stillness—even as it moves.

Crafted in Japan from beech wood, iron, and polyethylene, KUSA is part object, part sensation. Originally awarded the Grand Prix in the 2006 Toyama Design Competition, it’s a quiet tribute to the natural landscapes of Japan.

Designed to be felt, not just seen.
